- Abstract
The article describes the pollution-haven hypothesis, an idea that polluting industries will relocate to jurisdictions with less stringent environmental regulations, and the controversy surrounding it. It informs about the environmental regulation of the U.S. and discusses the impact it may create on industry movement abroad. It offers remedial measures for environmental degradation and violation of law caused by pollution havens.
