Title
The Lengthy Vertical Journey of Superdeep Diamonds.
Abstract
The article explores the formation and journey of superdeep diamonds, originating from depths of approximately 300–800 kilometer below the Earth's surface, and investigates the mechanisms by which they are transported to the surface through kimberlites. It discusses the challenges of dating these diamonds and presents a recent study that sheds light on their ages, suggesting a lengthy storage period in the mantle before reaching the surface.
