- Title
Chapter 7. The Biographies.
- Abstract
The article discusses a questionnaire sent by politician Colonel Josiah Wedgwood in July 1936 to members and former members of the British parliament who served up to 1918, focusing on biographies based on the survey. It comments on how the questionnaire was designed as a basis for the legislators to write their own autobiographies. Wedgwood's views on military achievements and Irish nationalism are presented, and his biography of member of parliament Edward Hemmerde is also considered.
