- Abstract
The article offers information on the sport regulation that encompass the relationship between the sport authorities and the state in the European Union. It explores the fundamental element of the European Commission to start an infringement procedure against any member state that breaches a community law on sports. It details the regulation, rules, and provisions of European states that are in line with the international and domestic legal framework with respect to their compliance with applicable rules. It adds that the state can influence professional sports activities through the support and resources from its public funds.
