- Abstract
The article discusses the Irish £14 million upgrade of the mission equipment of the Irish Air Corps. The Irish Air Corps Maritime Patrol Aircraft has allegedly been flown at over 1,000 hours per aircraft per year and to sustain this operational availability, the Department of Defence of Ireland deemed it important that the replacement equipment had the performance, developmental potential and serviceability for the remainder of the life of the aircraft.
