- Title
Restoration in the Face of Climate Change: A Case Study from the Dorset Heaths.
- Authors
Diaz, Anita; Green, Iain; Keith, Sally
- Abstract
The article presents a case study on the techniques for restoring lowland dry Atlantic heathland in Dorset, England. It recalls the abundance of low-growing and ericaceous shrubs in the area, however, it is now highly fragmented and threatened. It presents a comparison of the different treatments in reducing the potential of hydrogen (pH) and other concentrations in the area. It suggests that restoration techniques vary relative to their effectiveness as the climate changes.
