An interview is presented with Caroline Frick, a professor at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas and founder and Executive Director of the media preservation organization the Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI). When asked about the challenges that face film archives and archivists, she discusses the financial challenges involved. She discusses the role that digital technology plays in archives. She comments on the historical role of preserving amateur film and video footage.
