- Authors
EDMISTON, JULIE
- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 13-year-old male with a history of neurofibromatosis type one (NF-1) who presented with pain in the right lower leg, and was shown to have a multilobulated mass in the belly of the soleus muscle. The author explains that the findings, shown through magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were compatible with a type of neurofibroma, a plexiform peripheral nerve sheath tumor.
