- Abstract
The article focuses on various issues related to management of migraine headache. It says that migraine headache is a genetic, chronic, neurologic disorder that involves abnormal sensory processing. It states that disease diagnosis follows the guidelines created by the International Headache Society (IHS) in its second edition of the International Headache Classification (IHCD-2). It adds that triptans treat associated migraine symptoms and the migraine pain. INSETS: Medication overuse headaches;Nerve blocks and trigger point injections.
