- Abstract
The article offers information on related to incidence, diagnosis, and complications of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), considered as the most common type leukemia in adults. It mentions that the diagnosis of CLL to an individual requires the existence of at least 5,000 B lymphocytes per microliter in peripheral blood. It states that CLL patients are prone to various types of immune defects such as hypogammaglobulinemia which is considered as the most common intrinsic immune defect.
