Title
Atrial fibrillation recurrence is higher with episodic treatment with amiodarone.
Abstract
The article examines the efficacy between continuous and episodic treatment with amiodarone for the prevention of atrial fibrillation in adults. It notes that adults who receive continuous rather than episodic amiodarone treatment would likely to prevent the recurrence of atrial fibrillation. It relates that treatment groups do not present any differences in major adverse events.
