BOWAL, PETER; BRIERTON, THOMAS D.; ROLLETT, JOHN
- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the decision of the British Columbia Supreme Court case Wong v. Lok's Martial Arts Centre Inc. regarding the waiver law for infants. The author examines the information of the case to establish the frequency of the type of infant contracting scenario in the province. Also, the author believes that the decision contributes to the creation of waiver law by looking at the enforcement of infant's waiver for a voluntary, intense physical contact activity.
