- Abstract
The article presents a study on the efficacy of cannabis in prevention and treatment of neuropathic pain. It highlights the most common way that cannabis is used which is through smoking. As researchers confirmed its analgesic activity of cannabis, a randomized controlled trial among 21 neuropathic patients was performed by either oral or through dose-response methods. Further investigations are yet to be made in comparison to other drugs that are effective for nociceptive and neuropathic pain.
