- Authors
Webster, Paul
- Abstract
The article informs that health scientists in Manitoba and British Columbia have suggested that First Nations' control of health care leads to better health. The finding indicated that reluctance of the government to invest in local nursing stations within First Nations communities impairs health outcomes and inflates costs to provincial health budgets. The study was conducted by a multidisciplinary team including the University of Northern British Columbia, Prince George, British Columbia.
