- Title
Male Trouble: Are Men Victims of Sexism?
- Authors
Digby, Tom
- Abstract
The article discusses the disadvantages of sex discrimination against men in the U.S. It is not uncommon for men to manifest anxieties about gender ferment in complaints that men are unfairly disadvantaged. Antifeminism is a common theme in angry man discourse. Cynthia Enloe addresses military sexism but ignores the greater disadvantage suffered by vast numbers of men who are forced into combat against their wills. She points out what makes the second sexism claim intriguing instead of concentrating on how men's lives have been changed in recent decades by feminism.
