- Abstract
The article provides suggestions on teaching students about energy conservation methods, citing winter as an opportune time for such lessons. It suggests various resources for learning materials, such as the U.S. Energy Information Administration website, the National Earth Science Teachers Association lab, also available on the Internet, and the use of energy monitors. Other extracurricular activities are also recommended, such as performing energy audits, and involvement in the interschool Green Cup Challenge (GCC) by the Green Schools Alliance (GSA).
