- Abstract
The article focuses on the need for harmonizing the general contract law and discusses the role of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) in this context. It highlights three different scenarios of contracting parties including parties from countries where the same language is spoken, company with overwhelming bargaining power contracts with an economically weaker party, and parties from countries where different languages are spoken.
