- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals case Perdomo v. Holder. The article states that the case concerns the recognition of gender-based persecution and gender-based claims for political asylum. The author argues that the Ninth Circuit's opinion in the case implicitly suggested that the court is close to allowing greater access to such asylum.
