- Abstract
The article presents a study demonstrating the femtosecond absorption band formation at 1080 and 1020 nanometers as an indication of charge-separated states in photosynthetic reaction centers (RCs) of purple bacterium Rhodobacter sphaeroides. It notes that coincidence of curves showing an increase in absorption changes. This indicates that the absorption changes reflect the same process.
