- Abstract
The article reports on the prevention of traumatic nail gun injuries in apprentice carpenters with the use of population-based standards to supervise intervention effectiveness. It discusses that nail guns were assessed over 3 years among carpenters recruited in two apprenticeship programs in the Midwest. It infers that as apprentices experienced trainings and safer trigger exposures in the said field, rampant decrease in injury rates were observed. An overview on nail gun injuries are also presented.
