- Title
Intestinal erosion rate following transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) and totally extraperitoneal (TEP) inguinal hernia repair: does the surgical approach matter?
- Authors
Apostolou, K.; Schizas, D.
- Abstract
Considering the aforementioned difference in intestinal erosion rate between TAPP and TEP inguinal hernia repair techniques, it would be interesting to see if this difference could also be confirmed in the entire cohort of Koliakos et al. study [[1]], a finding which would definitely shed more light on that emerging topic. Dear Editor, We read with great interest the recently published review, summarizing intestinal erosion cases following inguinal hernia repair that are published so far in the literature [[1]].
