- Abstract
The article focuses on the Nixon-in-China moments in which United Egg Producers (UEP), an agricultural producer (fox) and hound, Humane Society of the U.S. (HSUS) organization work together for national egg-laying standards. It mentions that both had signed formal agreement of the Egg Products Inspection Act (EPIA) Amendments of 2012 on agricultural animal welfare issues to make hen house legislation regarding battery-cage eggs for the purpose of food safety.
