- Abstract
After the outbreak of the pandemic, organizations had to adapt to a new normality and millions of people transformed their homes into workplaces. The objective of this research is to analyze remote work through the motivation and hygiene factors postulated by Herzberg. For this, he used a qualitative methodology using the analysis of the content of books, technical reports, scientific articles and digital publications. The results show that motivational factors stimulate professional development. On the other hand, those of hygiene were surpassed in a short time thanks to technology and agreements of the employees with their families and their circle of work. It is concluded that remote work managed to increase productivity, and that the implementation of a strategic organizational communication plan is warranted that takes into account additional factors such as behavior, adaptability, mourning for the loss of a family member, among others.
