- Title
Clinical Teaching Skills for Radiation Therapy.
- Authors
Leaver, Dennis
- Abstract
The article provides an insight into what makes an effective radiation therapy clinical teacher. Generally, clinical instructors have no formal training as teachers, but rather model behavior of former instructors. To become an effective clinical instructor, a therapist should have a basic understanding of adult learning characteristics, learning styles, and evaluation methods. This can help the therapist to give back to the profession by passing on skills to the next generation of therapists.
