- Abstract
The author reflects on a study that investigates the role of dissociated pulmonary vein activity (DPVA) in the recurrence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after the isolation of pulmonary vein. Topics discussed include percentage of patients who showed DPVA recovery after they underwent second cardiac ablation, isolation of veins in ostium and antrum after the researcher discovered multiple foci in single vein and risk factors associated with pulmonary vein stenosis.
