- Title
Fetal snowman sign: four-dimensional imaging of supracardiac total anomalous pulmonary venous connection.
- Authors

- Abstract
However, the pulmonary veins (PVs) did not enter the left atrium (LA) but appeared to drain into a common chamber behind the LA. Pulmonary veins (PV) course posteriorly to form common chamber (CC) which drains into left brachiocephalic vein (LBCV) through vertical vein (V/VV; arrows) and subsequently into dilated superior vena cava (SVC) on right side. The sign was formed by the PVs fusing to form a common chamber which ascended to the left of the pulmonary trunk through the VV and drained into the dilated LBCV superiorly, which in turn entered the dilated superior vena cava (SVC) on the right (Figure 3a, Videoclip S1).
