Abstract
The article warns the consumer with regards to rotten meats in Jakarta, Indonesia. According to Wahyudi Soeriaatmadja in The Straits Times, scavengers in Jakarta are looking for rotting meat in garbage cans and then repackaging it for sale in a very low price. Dealers of processing centre would recook and dye this rotten meats making it fresh to look at before selling it to consumers. Consumers were warned by the police to report meats that are sold at a cheaper price.
