- Abstract
The present work presents a review of the literature on the approach of black holes in the main teaching of Physics and Science in the last ten years. The research resulted in a sample of 33 articles, which were classified into four major categories: didactic proposals tested in the classroom, survey of conceptions, theoretical essay and curriculum analysis. It is possible to verify that the evident increase in publications about black holes in the last five years, more frequently in international journals than in Brazilian journals, is due to recent scientific discoveries about the astronomical object. However, most of the articles still refer to the reference bibliography for teachers, which leads us to conclude that there is a low number of studies involving didactic proposals, specifically proposals that investigate the mechanisms involved in the process of building knowledge on the subject. The present literature review indicates an extensive field of research still little explored in the area of Physics teaching.
