Abstract
The article presents information on a nonmetal Humvee, the frame and body of which is made from lightweight materials such as foam, balsa wood and resin, which allows the vehicle to carry more armor in order to better protect soldiers from enemy explosives. It was developed by TPI Composites Inc. and AM General Corp. together with the United States Army.
