- Abstract
The article discusses the implementation of recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) on the marketing of foods and non-alcoholic beverages to children by the Norwegian government. The draft proposals of the government concerning the implementation of WHO's guidelines and the suggestion of a self-regulatory regime by the industry are examined. The advisory opinions released by the Complaint Commission of the Food Industry or Matbransjens Faglige Utvalg (MFU) about marketing ban.
