- Abstract
ABSTRACT Female sexual dysfunction is a common problem, yet it is often under-treated. Sexual function is an integral part of the human experience and sexual dysfunction can negatively impact quality of life, yet many patients suffer in silence with their problems. This article provides a common case scenario, along with information on prevalence of female sexual dysfunction, definitions and classifications of female sexual dysfunction as well as some of the treatment options available.
