- Abstract
The article details the isolation of bluetongue virus serotypes 2,9 and 15 from sheep in India. It reveals that bluetongue virus serotypes have been demonstrated in the country by either virus isolation or antibody detection. Of the 92 blood samples collected, 16 caused death when inoculated into embryonated chicken eggs with subcutaneous hemorrhages in the embryos.
