- Abstract
The article explores the issue of discrimination against individuals with personality disorders in mediation settings. It discusses the stigma and bias faced by these individuals and highlights the ethical and legal standards that prohibit such discrimination. The article identifies various factors that contribute to this discrimination, such as the casual usage of mental health terms and the use of proxy labels. It provides tools and initiatives to help mediators address and prevent unintentional discrimination. The article also discusses the challenges faced in family court when dealing with individuals with high-conflict personalities and suggests strategies to address these behaviors. Overall, the article aims to raise awareness and promote a more inclusive and unbiased approach in dispute resolution.
