- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 22-year-old women who underwent a renal transplantation. The patient reportedly developed complications like hyperparathyroidism, interscapular pain which irradiated to the lumbar area and progressive paraplegia 20 months after the surgery. The clinical, radiological, and histopathological findings were characterised as brown tumor of the spine in a patient with persisting severe secondary hyperparathyroidism.
