- Abstract
The article offers information on the case of 97-year-old man diagnosed with purple urine bag syndrome (PUBS). It mentions that his urine returned to a normal color after treatment of ciprofloxacin. Moreover, it states that when ingested tryptophan is exposed to intestinal flora in patients with altered gut motility, indigo and indirubin pigments are created.
