- Abstract
The article presents information on the non recognition of post-conviction claims of actual innocence by the judiciary of Connecticut. It discusses the court case of Gould v. Commissioner of Correction and the Conundrum in which George Gould and Ronald Taylor were convicted of killing Eugenio Vega. It argues on the drawbacks in the fact-finding process of criminal trials in post-conviction DNA exonerations. It explains the developing jurisprudence of innocence.
