- Abstract
The article offers information on the Groninger Museum in Groningen, the Netherlands. It states that during the 25th anniversary of Dutch Gasunie in 1987, it donated £9 million for the construction of said museum. The basic concept of the museum was based on the theories of German playwright Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi. It is inferred that the museum has been the subject of protests but it has received over a million visitors from all over the world.
