The article focuses on the fascination of several people in the U.S. on martial arts. It cites that martial arts themes and techniques have been used in popular fiction, films, television shows and games in the country. It discusses its impact on the American culture as well as the impact of the revolution of communications technology on the understanding of Americans regarding the relationship between training and the result of such training. Moreover, it explores the reasons why martial arts is prevalent in cyberspace as well as the important aspect of virtual reality that is embodied in video games.
