- Abstract
In order to reduce the potential safety hazards caused by the blind spot of reversing vision of forklift trucks and drowsy driving of the driver, an economical active brake system for the forklift truck reversing is proposed and applied to a 16 t forklift truck. The controller of the active brake system for the forklift truck calculates and processes the data collected by sensors when the truck is reversing, establishes a dynamic mathematical model and performs different control strategies according to the calculation results, so as to realize the functions of early warning and active braking and avoid collisions.
