- Abstract
This study was conducted to examine the effects of work-life balance on school administrators' passion for work. The data collection tool consisting of personal information form, Work Life Balance and Work Engagement Scale prepared in line with the purpose was applied to 113 school administrators working in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Zonguldak province centre in the 2022-2023 academic year, which were determined by convenience sampling method. The data obtained were evaluated by means of SPSS 22.0 statistical programme in computer environment. In the analysis of the data, frequency, percentage, standard deviation, average statistics, correlation and regression analyses were used. As a result of the research, it was determined that school administrators have moderate level of work passion and work life balance. Significant relationships were found between work-life harmony, making time for oneself and having a life consisting of work, which are the dimensions determining school administrators' work-life balance, and the dimensions determining their level of work passion, while there were no significant relationships between neglecting life and work passion dimensions. As a result of the regression analysis, it was concluded that work-life harmony, making time for oneself and general work-life balance positively affect and increase work passion.
