The paper offers some theological considerations in view of a discernment about marriage. It does that by asserting the primacy of the evangelical kerygma, which is received by husband and wife in the faith, within a fruitful tension, also eschatological tension, between conjugal and nuptial aspects. Such tension refers to the conjugal relationship that binds Mary and Joseph for ever within the Church, which is the bride of the Son.
