- Abstract
The article presents information on legal developments in marketing relative to the regulation of unfair competition. The article focuses on United States court cases pertaining to the regulation of promotional and non-promotional advertising. The cases of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission v. Carter Products Inc., Rhodes Pharmacal Co. Inc. et al. v. the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, and the Book-of-the-Month Club Inc. v. the U.S. Federal Trade Commission are presented.
