- Abstract
The author comments on a study which investigated the impact of U.S. food aid on developing countries. She cites two dilemmas posed by the findings of the study that long-term U.S. food aid usually has negative consequences. She also mentions several reasons for the failure of international aid such as the difference between the cultural and religious histories of the donor and recipient countries.
