- Abstract
The article evaluates public policies regarding the prevention of domestic violence and malicious prosecution claims that necessitate prohibition on claims that emerge from domestic violence enforcement proceedings. It highlights the need for domestic violence laws reform to achieve their protective purposes. It also discusses ways by which a financially unstable victim of domestic violence who is unable to remain safely in her home can protect from creditors in bankruptcy.
