- Abstract
The purpose of the study is to develop a valid and reliable scale to determine classroom teacher candidates' perceived efficacy beliefs towards moral education. The scale developed based on pre-determined 3 sub-scales, namely; Motivation, Planning and Mastery. For the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) 105 senior classroom teacher candidates participated in the study voluntarily. Factor loadings vary between .50 and .89. The participants who did not reply more than % 10 of the total item number did not involve in the study. After conducting EFA, another data set was constituted one semester later, with new senior teacher candidates for confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). In total of 48 teacher candidates were participated in the CFA study. The results of CFA shows 3 factor structure with total 11 items.
