The author examines word-order patterns in adverbs and pronouns in the Slovenian dialect Selsko of the municipality of Sele/Zell in Carinthia, Austria. Topics discussed include the way adverb use depends on functional sentence perspective and emphasis, the observed local modifications in separable-prefix verbs, and factors which influence the use of adverbs of place and time.
