- Abstract
The article presents the result of a pilot study which explored the use of computer and web-based multimedia systems in enhancing the problem-based learning (PBL) educational modality adopted for medical students at the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), University of Hawaii. The students are encouraged to access health care problems (HCP) and learning issues (LI) modules through their iPad. The satisfaction ratings of students who used iPads are compared with students who used paper.
