- Title
Regulation of growth in pome fruits by post-harvest and ‘in store’ applications.
- Abstract
The article discusses the standards of experiments testing the effect of plant growth regulators on regulation on pome fruits. Specifically, the experiment will test regulation of ripening and improvement of fruit quality in fruits of the species and/or cultivars of apple, pear, or quince. The author says the plants should be healthy, not affected by water damage or pest damage. Growth regulators should be applied uniformly and specifics as to how to record results are presented.
