- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 13-year-old boy who was evaluated for a middle ear lesion. With the child complaining about tinnitus in the form of a fizzing sound, a micro-otoscopic examination of the right ear was performed that revealed a nonpulsating, bluish-red mass at the level of the inferior part of the tympanic membrane. A diagnosis of an aneurysm of the internal carotid artery protruding into the middle ear was shown in the magnetic resonance angiography (MRA).
