- Authors
Macmadu, Alexandria
- Abstract
The article discusses a study which documented that COVID-19-era economic support policies significantly reduced overdose rates at the state level, through these effects were mitigated by co-occurring measures that limited in-person activities and magnified overdose risk. Topics include how the pandemic-era economic support policies realized their efficacy in reducing financial precarity and important moves to bolster incomes in the face of persisting low labor force participation.
